The Emersen Oval Dining Table brings a thoughtful balance of organic warmth and structural design to the heart of your home. Designed for daily gathering, family meals, and evening conversations, this table serves as an inviting centerpiece that naturally draws people together. The gentle, flowing silhouette of the oval top softens the lines of a room while maximizing seating comfort and encouraging natural flow during busy gatherings.
Crafted from solid alder, this table features our rich Tobacco finish, which highlights the wood's natural grain patterns, warm undertones, and unique character. Alder is highly regarded for its smooth texture and beautiful, subtle grain, making it an exceptional choice for a surface that will host decades of shared meals and daily routines. It offers a generous yet intimate setting for family and guests alike.
Supporting the solid wood top is a robust, handcrafted X-base. This architectural base provides both exceptional stability and a timeless presence, ensuring ample legroom while anchoring the room with its clean, intentional lines. Each table is made to order by skilled craftsmen who understand that furniture should be built for real life, combining honest materials and time-honored construction techniques.

About the Tobacco finish
This Emersen Oval Dining Table is finished in Tobacco on Alder. A warm, earthy brown with enduring appeal. Timeless and balanced, it brings a sense of thoughtful comfort.
- Wood: Solid knotty alder sourced from the Pacific Northwest, the wood behind about 95% of our pieces. Its grain and natural knots stay visible under the stain.
- Finish: hand-applied stain sealed with a polyurethane topcoat that helps protect against water, stains and scratches.
- Character: grain, knots and color variation are part of solid wood and make every piece its own. Knots on top surfaces are filled.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
