Custom, American Hardwood Furniture

The Rustic Windsor Dining Chair honors a silhouette that has earned its place in homes for generations. Its open spindle back brings a sense of lightness to the dining room, while the familiar form gives the table a comfortable, grounded character.
Windsor Detail, Everyday Support
A contoured seat and supportive back make this chair inviting for a simple meal or a conversation that stretches into the evening. The open back keeps the design visually airy, allowing it to work well around a table without making the room feel crowded.
Classic Enough to Keep
The Rustic Windsor has the flexibility to complete a matching set or join a more collected arrangement of chairs. Its timeless lines pair naturally with traditional dining furniture as well as cleaner, more transitional pieces.
Made for Use at Home
Handcrafted by James & James with an emphasis on enduring construction, this chair is designed to serve the daily gatherings that give a dining room its purpose.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
