Rustic Windsor Stool
Rustic Windsor Stool
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
Order real wood and fabric swatches to see how each finish looks in your space, lighting, and style before you commit.
The Rustic Windsor Stool brings the familiar charm of a spindle-back chair to the kitchen or dining space. Its open back keeps the silhouette light, while the classic lines add the kind of warmth that makes a gathering area feel established and personal.
Solid Maple with a Classic Profile
Built from solid maple, the stool highlights the natural character and individual grain of the wood. The material gives the piece a grounded quality, while the Windsor-inspired design keeps the look from feeling heavy or overly formal.
Support for Everyday Gatherings
The spindle back provides a comfortable place to lean during meals, conversations, and the routines that collect people around a kitchen or dining area. Its balanced form makes it easy to use as part of a coordinated set or alongside seating chosen over time.
Handcrafted to Order
James & James makes every Rustic Windsor Stool with durable construction and daily use in mind, creating a piece that is meant to be both useful and lasting.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
