With its classic trestle base and sturdy presence, this bench offers both functional seating and a grounding design element to your home's most active spaces.
Solid Oak in a Rich Espresso Finish
Crafted from genuine solid oak, this bench showcases the enduring strength and expressive grain patterns of natural solid hardwood. The deep Espresso finish adds a refined, sophisticated tone to the wood, highlighting the unique grain story and natural character of the oak rather than hiding it. This rich, dark finish brings a quiet strength and timeless warmth to your decor, making it a versatile companion for both traditional and modern spaces.
Thoughtful Proportions for Everyday Living
This Trestle Bench is perfectly proportioned to offer comfortable seating without crowding your space. It slides easily under a matching dining table when not in use, keeping walkways clear, or stands beautifully on its own against an entryway wall. Its balanced silhouette and solid construction ensure it remains a reliable, functional piece for daily routines and special gatherings alike.
Handcrafted to Endure
Every bench we build is made to order by skilled craftsmen who respect the natural character of the wood. Because we use real solid oak, each piece features its own unique knots, grain variations, and subtle textures. This ensures your bench is truly one of a kind—an heirloom-quality piece built with enduring quality to serve your family for generations.

About the Espresso finish
This Trestle Bench is finished in Espresso on Oak. A deep, bold brown that highlights the natural grain of oak. Its strong, grounding presence gives a space depth and character.
- Wood: Solid oak, with prominent, expressive grain that gives each piece visible movement and texture.
- Finish: hand-applied stain sealed with a polyurethane topcoat that helps protect against water, stains and scratches.
- Character: grain, knots and color variation are part of solid wood and make every piece its own. Knots on top surfaces are filled.
- See it first: stain looks different in every room's light, so we recommend ordering a sample before you decide.
Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
