Weston Stool
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
Order real wood and fabric swatches to see how each finish looks in your space, lighting, and style before you commit.
The Weston Stool is a straightforward, comfortable seat for the parts of home life that happen around a kitchen or dining area. Its clean silhouette and contoured wood seat bring a quiet sense of craft to the room without adding unnecessary bulk.
Solid Maple, Naturally Distinct
Each Weston is handcrafted from solid maple, chosen for its strength and subtle grain. Natural variation in the wood gives every made-to-order stool its own character, keeping the material at the center of the design.
Made for Everyday Use
The contoured seat offers easy comfort for a quick breakfast, a long conversation, or the work that gathers near the kitchen. The Weston's simple form can sit comfortably in traditional, transitional, or more current spaces.
Thoughtful, Lasting Construction
James & James builds every stool with a focus on honest materials and reliable use, giving the Weston the substance to become part of the household's regular rhythm.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
