Sandstone on White Oak Dining Tables in Every Shape

Sandstone on White Oak is one of two finishes we offer on solid white oak, available on round, square, oval and rectangular dining tables. It is for homeowners who want a premium hardwood table and value the grain and natural character of white oak.

Every Sandstone table is built to order in our Arkansas woodshop and finished by hand. With round and square designs alongside long rectangular and oval tables, it is easy to find a shape that fits the way your room is laid out.

What Sandstone on White Oak Looks Like

Species: solid white oak, one of our premium American hardwoods.
Character: natural grain and color variation make each top individual.
Finish: stained by hand, then sealed under a protective polyurethane topcoat.
Best preview: a physical sample viewed in your own light.

Most of what we build is knotty alder, so white oak is a deliberate choice. Its grain gives the table quiet texture and a sense of permanence. Because finish color is best judged in person, we recommend a sample before you decide.

Which Table Shape Should I Choose?

Round: 48, 54, 60 and 72 in seat 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 6 and 6 to 8.
Square: 46, 55, 60 and 66 in seat 4, 4 to 8, 8 and 8.
Round designs: Heirloom Round, Josephine Round, Shiloh Round and Violet Round.
Square designs: Baluster Square, Farmhouse Square, French Country Square and Shiloh Square.

Round and square tables suit square rooms, breakfast areas and open plans where people move around every side. A round table keeps conversation easy; a square table gives a generous, balanced surface for larger gatherings.

Rooms and Styles for Sandstone

Styles: French country, farmhouse and quietly modern dining rooms.
Seating: hardwood or upholstered dining chairs.
Fabrics: Oatmeal performance linen and Stone bouclé are easy, neutral choices.

The Olivia Square Dining Table and Violet Round Dining Table in Sandstone bring a clean, considered look to the room, while the French Country Square Dining Table leans more traditional. Neutral upholstery lets the white oak grain stay the focus.
