A Gathering Place of Character and Strength
The Emersen Oval Dining Table in our warm Harvest Wheat finish brings a thoughtful balance of organic warmth and structural design to the heart of your home. Designed for daily gathering, family meals, and evening conversations, this table serves as an inviting centerpiece that naturally draws people together, offering a soft, flowing silhouette that eases movement through your dining space.
Crafted from solid alder, the table features a beautiful grain pattern highlighted by the Harvest Wheat finish, which brings out the natural, golden tones of the wood. The oval top comfortably accommodates family and guests, while the robust, handcrafted base provides both exceptional stability and a timeless architectural presence. The curved edges of the oval top not only soften the room's lines but also make conversations flow more naturally, as everyone sits at a gentle angle to one another. It is a shape that invites lingering long after the meal has ended.

About the Harvest Wheat finish
This Emersen Oval Dining Table is finished in Harvest Wheat on Alder. A golden, honeyed tone that feels effortlessly luminous. Light and inviting, it subtly brightens interiors with a natural feel.
- Wood: Solid knotty alder sourced from the Pacific Northwest, the wood behind about 95% of our pieces. Its grain and natural knots stay visible under the stain.
- Finish: hand-applied stain sealed with a polyurethane topcoat that helps protect against water, stains and scratches.
- Character: grain, knots and color variation are part of solid wood and make every piece its own. Knots on top surfaces are filled.
Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
