A Welcoming Presence in the Living Space
The entryway, hallway, or the space just behind your sofa serves as the transition point of your home—a place where daily routines unfold and guests are first welcomed. The Ella Sofa Table is designed to bring a grounded, intentional presence to these high-traffic areas. Handcrafted from solid oak, it offers a beautiful balance of functional surface area and quiet, understated design.
Solid Oak in a Rich Espresso Finish
We selected solid oak for its enduring strength and prominent, expressive grain patterns. Finished in our deep, rich Espresso tone, the wood's natural character is allowed to shine through, offering a refined warmth that complements both classic and transitional interiors. This finish highlights the unique story of the wood, ensuring that no two tables are exactly alike.
Thoughtful Proportions for Everyday Living
The Ella Sofa Table fits comfortably in smaller entryways, narrow hallways, or neatly behind a standard sofa. It provides an ideal platform for a pair of reading lamps, a collection of family photos, or a simple ceramic vase. Built by hand with time-honored techniques, this table is designed to withstand the rhythms of daily life, from keys tossed down at the end of the day to the quiet moments of gathering with family.

About the Espresso finish
This Ella Sofa Table is finished in Espresso on Oak. A deep, bold brown that highlights the natural grain of oak. Its strong, grounding presence gives a space depth and character.
- Wood: Solid oak, with prominent, expressive grain that gives each piece visible movement and texture.
- Finish: hand-applied stain sealed with a polyurethane topcoat that helps protect against water, stains and scratches.
- Character: grain, knots and color variation are part of solid wood and make every piece its own. Knots on top surfaces are filled.
- See it first: stain looks different in every room's light, so we recommend ordering a sample before you decide.
Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."
